Hi Chris,
I just wanted to say a big thank you for having me last weekend. I had a brilliant time, and your parents were so welcoming.
The best part was definitely the boat trip on Saturday. I'd never been sailing before, and seeing the coast from the water was amazing – even if I did get a bit seasick!
Why don't you come and stay with me next month? There's a music festival in my town in July, and I'm sure you'd love it. Let me know which weekend suits you.
See you soon,
Irati
Vale solo un 25 %: no le dediques más de 15 minutos, pero trata los tres puntos.

Should university education be free for everyone?
In many countries, students have to pay high fees to go to university, and some finish their studies with large debts. As a result, there is a growing debate about whether higher education should be free. In my opinion, it should be free, or at least very affordable, although this would need to be organised carefully.
The main argument in favour is equality of opportunity. If university costs a lot of money, talented young people from poorer families may decide not to apply, even if they have excellent grades. This is unfair to them, and it is also a loss for society, which needs well-trained doctors, engineers and teachers. In countries where university is free or cheap, a wider range of people are able to study.
On the other hand, someone has to pay for universities, and free education means higher taxes for everyone, including people who never went to university. Critics also argue that when something is free, some students do not take it seriously and may drop out or take longer to finish their degrees.
However, these problems can be reduced. Governments could offer free places but ask students to pass a certain number of subjects each year to keep them. In this way, education would be open to everyone, but students would still have a reason to work hard.
To sum up, I believe that university should be free because talent should matter more than money. Although it has a cost, investing in education benefits the whole of society in the long term.
- ¿Usas conectores variados (as a result, on the other hand, however, to sum up) y vocabulario preciso?
- ¿Llegas a los mínimos recomendados: 50 palabras en el correo y 250 en el ensayo?
